European supporters have voted the Germans as their preferred winners should their team be eliminated from the tournament with 20% of fans set to back them

With 20 per cent of fans, this is the highest figure, putting them ahead of both Spain (17%) and the Netherlands (16%).
However this popularity doesn’t seem to extend to the eastern border of Germany into Poland. 72% of Poles want to beat Germany more than any other team at the tournament.
Poland, though, might be better off concentrating on winning the tournament, 16% of European fans think they might have the most underrated team in the competition, ahead of Croatia (12%) in second place and Russia, Ireland and France joint-third with 9%.
The Irish have shown their desire to put one over England, wwith 61% of fans wanting to beat England the most. However the English seem far more occupied elsewhere, showing their rivalry with Germany (65%).
Ukraine are the least confident nation to win the Euros, with only 31% believing they have a chance of glory this summer. Czech Republic rank the second lowest on confidence with 34% while Denmark are third with 37%.
Finally the biggest surprise comes with 57% of people admitting they would give up sex to see their country crowned European champions this summer.
However 9% would be willing to go a day without, 17% would go a week, 22% have promised a month without nookie, 7% say a year and 2% of people surveyed have stated they would be willing to remain celibate for the rest of their lives!
