Ukrainian Interior Ministry reminds guests of safety rules in booklets

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has issued an information booklet, which reminds guests of Euro-2012 rules of conduct in stadiums, advises how to avoid scams and provides emergency service. The booklet translated in nine languages and printed in colour.

In particular, the booklet has a photo-sample form of employees of the road traffic patrol service, internal troops of the special Berkut (Golden Eagle) unit, symbols of road traffic police, ID, vehicles and more.

Pictures remind one of the rules of behavior in stadiums, including the banning of smoking, drink alcohol, cold steel, explosives and incendiary mixtures. "Only a policeman can stop your car! Sometimes there are cases where under the guise of representatives of environmental inspection, dressed in a uniform similar to the police, and these are crooks. They stop cars and offer to pass the test machine on exhaust CO content, imposing fines unlawfully. If you're in this situation, please call 102,” it says in one of the tips in the booklet.

In order not to lose things visitors are advised to leave documents in the safe, valuables, which are not used every day, transporting valuables, keep them on one’s person, be careful and hold fast to their way, especially in crowded places. And not to suffer at the hands of pickpockets - be vigilant in public transport, do not carry much cash and so on.
